Vehicle Stickers

It is required for any person residing within the Village limits, or whose principal place of business is within the Village limits, to purchase a vehicle sticker each year during the month of January.  This ordinance is enforced by the Leland Police Department.

Vehicle stickers are valid from January 1 – December 31 each calendar year.  All fees double if purchased after January 31.

Vehicle Sticker Fees (per vehicle):

Regular Price – $10.00

Senior Citizen (65 or older): $7.50

Additional license stickers are required for Non-Highway Vehicles, such as snowmobiles, golf carts, off-road or Utility Terrain Vehicles, etc.  This does not include farming equipment.

Non-Highway Vehicle Fees (per vehicle):

Initial Registration (1x only):  $30.00

Annually thereafter:  $10.00

Temporary:  $5.00

All stickers must be displayed in a prominent and visible place on the front of the vehicle at all times that it is operated in the village.

All revenues derived from vehicle sticker fees are used for paying the cost and expense of street and alley improvements and/or repairs.
